Philosophy
Our community is changing. We must challenge ourselves to continue to improve to better serve it as it changes. Our decisions should be strategic and data-driven. We should be transparent about our finances, operations, successes, and failures to enable growth and improvements that add value and enable us to provide the best possible service to the residents, property owners and businesses of our district. We should hold ourselves accountable to our commitments and openly measure our performance. I welcome feedback from our community and encourage community members to engage with the district, attend our board meetings, and tell us what matters the most to you. I look forward to serving on the DFPD board of directors for the next 4 years where I will use my background to help steer the growth of the department in a way that will benefit the community of Divide and our neighboring mutual aid partners. I will work diligently to enhance the transparency of operations and accountability to our community.
